nut-passion-fruit-shells-in-syrup

The passion fruit is one of the preferred fruits in Venezuela. Many of us can remember eating its pulp sprinkled with some sugar. The passion fruit juice is appropriate to refresh or accompany a breakfast. This dessert has installed itself in the taste memory of the Venezuelan people, showing us that nothing gets lost in the true cuisine. For this dessert, the shell of the fruit is used, which after cooked, it is introduced in a light syrup to then, as grandma taught us, combine it with condensed milk. A glorious combination for the palate, and furthermore, it can be blended with water to obtain a thick juice that will still keep the taste of the fruit.
